Edizione: dickensí great work about the terrors and turmoil of the french revolution. this was one of the last four of dickensí major novels to be written, and was only his second work of historical fiction (the first being barnaby rudge nearly 20 years earlier) but for modern readers it has become his most popular. in fact, with over 200 million copies estimated to have been sold in the 20th century alone, it can easily be called one of the most famous novels in the history of the art form.
